Elementary Exposure & Exploration

During the elementary years, students are at a crucial period when career beliefs and aspirations are being developed. It is vital that students are exposed to a variety of careers throughout their education, starting as early as possible. This early exposure can assist students in making critical connections between current education and future success.

Vertical Alignment

From elementary through adult ed, we are increasing career exploration and preparation for students. We are hosting another Middle School Career Fair for students in Napa county, creating new articulation agreements with Napa Valley College, and building connections with the adult school.

We are the Napa County Office of Education College and Career Readiness Department working in partnership with Napa Valley Unified School District, Calistoga Joint Unified School District, and St. Helena Unified School District. We work with Career Technical Education (CTE) programs and support CTE work throughout the state. We provide access to career pathways, integrated curriculum, work-based learning, a variety of career exploration activities, and college planning tools.

Our vision is for a future where all students graduate high school with a better understanding of themselves and their career path, and are truly prepared to be successful in college, career, and life.

It's time to start.
