In the Business pathways at New Technology High School and American Canyon High School, students gain skills and resources for effective career, educational, and life planning. Through projects, job simulations, and work-based learning activities, students explore who they are, what their options are, and prepare for their path after high school. These are Career Technical Education pathways managed by the Napa County Office of Education.
The capstone course, Professionalism & Internship, is new this year. In it, students complete internships with local business. Three students (two from New Tech and one from American Canyon) are the first students to complete the Napa County Sheriff's new internship program.
