On December 13th, all 2nd graders at St. Helena Primary School, about 80 students total, rotated through stations with 8 different local employers representing careers in government. The event connects to the school's Government at Work 2nd grade unit and aligns with district goals around diversity and inclusion.
Principal Tamara Sanguinetti shared, "All of the government employers created learning experiences that were age appropriate and included “swag”! I am so appreciative and can’t wait to get started planning for our 1st Grade event." Marianne Stegman from the St. Helena Child Development Center said, "That was really fun! Thank you for having us!" and Olga Medina from the Napa County Superior Court shared, "I enjoyed interacting with the students and their thoughts about career choices."
